Jerry Seinfeld, kicking it with Louis C.K. The Memphis Grizzlies draft an 8-year-old. And the Stanford band rules

Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee by Jerry Seinfeld.

A few items to hopefully warm your heart on Good News Friday, as we here in the Northeast endure the winter storm people are calling Hercules (great name for a storm, no?)

Jerry Seinfeld is back with another season of “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” which is awesome in and of itself.
But his first guest was Louis C.K., and they’re fabulous together. So many good lines in this episode, but my favorite comes about 13:46 in when Louie explains his reasoning for going to see 3D movies while stoned.

Both of these guys are comic geniuses.

**Next up on Good News Friday, the Stanford football team may have lost the Rose Bowl, but their band is some kind of awesome. They totally rocked out at halftime Wednesday with great costumes and terrific tunes.

Here’s a clip of them in all their glory:

**Finally today, these Make-A-Wish-Foundation stories when they team up with sports teams to make a sick kid’s dreams come true? They never, ever get old. This week brings us the tale of Charvis Brewer, an 8-year-old basketball fan who suffers from cerebral palsy.

His dream was to be drafted by an NBA team, and the Grizzlies stepped up and made Brewer their newest choice.

They gave him a tour of the locker room, gave him a jersey, and gave him a great seat during practice.

Look at how happy that kid is, and then tell me that sports, for all their faults, doesn’t do more good than harm in our society.
